PAINT PROTECTION FILM

Paint protection film.
Adelaide.

Clear and colour PPF installed at our Gouger Street studio in Adelaide. A replaceable physical layer over your paint: clear film preserves the colour you love; colour PPF changes the look while adding protection.

WHAT PPF DOES

A barrier you can replace.
Paint you want to preserve.

PPF sits over the original finish and takes exposure that would otherwise reach the paint. It is especially relevant to front-facing panels and the areas you use every day.

THE ADVANTAGES

  • Helps absorb everyday impacts.

A protective film helps reduce damage from small road debris, light abrasions and contact. Coverage can focus on the areas most exposed to your driving.

  • Preserves your choice of finish.

Clear film keeps the underlying paint visible. Matte or coloured PPF can change the appearance while retaining a protective purpose.

  • A surface designed for maintenance.

Selected films offer water-repellent or self-healing topcoats. A damaged section of film can be assessed for replacement.

THE TRADE-OFFS

  • Protection has limits.

PPF cannot stop every stone, deep scratch, dent or collision. Self-healing describes certain light surface marks in the film, not torn film or damaged paint.

  • It is an investment in material and labour.

Coverage, vehicle geometry and preparation affect the quote. Edges, joins and some surface texture may remain visible on close inspection.

  • It still needs care and eventual replacement.

Contamination should be removed promptly. Aged, repainted or poorly bonded paint needs particular assessment before installation and removal.

THE FILMS WE WORK WITH

Choose the film.
Understand the difference.

We use these brands at G’ZOX Adelaide. The exact film, colour, availability and applicable Australian warranty terms are confirmed in your quote. Product ranges shown on manufacturer websites are not a promise that every option is in stock.

COLOUR PPF

Colour with
a protective purpose.

Colour PPF puts a new finish and a protective film in the same material. It differs from ordinary styling vinyl in construction, purpose and cost.

STEK and INOZETEK offer coloured PPF ranges. We’ll confirm the specific product, finish and availability for your vehicle.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Before your PPF quote.

What does a front-end PPF quote include?

We agree the covered panels for your vehicle before booking. Ask us to confirm the film, preparation, edges, joins and any exclusions in your quote. The Lotus Exige project above is one example of front-end coverage, rather than a fixed package for every car.

Can you fit PPF to a Tesla?

Our portfolio includes a Tesla Model Y with full-car matte PPF and a Model 3 Performance with a matte PPF finish. Tell us your model, year, preferred finish and the areas you want covered so we can discuss the right scope.

What should I send for a PPF quote?

Send your make, model and year; the panels you want covered; and whether you prefer clear, matte or colour PPF. Let us know about any repainting and your preferred timing. Photos help us understand the car; we confirm the film, preparation and final scope before booking.

Send your PPF enquiry
Is PPF the same as a glass coating?

No. PPF is a physical film intended to help with impacts and abrasion. Glass coating is a surface treatment for gloss, water behaviour and care. They solve different problems.

Will every edge be completely invisible?

No. Coverage, joins and accessible edges depend on the vehicle and the installation plan. We discuss them before booking so you know what the finished result includes.

How long will it last, and what warranty applies?

The exact film, exposure, washing and installation affect performance. We confirm the selected product and its applicable Australian terms rather than give one lifespan or warranty for every brand and finish.

Can PPF be removed later?

Yes, it is designed as a removable film, but paint condition matters. Previous repairs, weak clear coat, film age and removal technique affect the risk. Let us inspect the surface before promising a particular outcome.

YOUR CAR. YOUR NEXT CHAPTER.

Protect what matters to you.

Tell us your vehicle, how you drive and the panels you want to protect. We’ll help define the right scope.
